Lyric coloratura soprano, Cinzia Forte is praised by international critics for the uncommon elegance of her phrasing and remarkable stage presence. Mrs. Forte is present on the billboards of the main Italian and European theaters such as the Teatro alla Scala, the San Carlo in Naples, The Fenice in Venice, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Opera in Rome, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the ROH Covent Garden, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, the Zurich Opera House, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysees in Paris, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Teatro Real in Madrid. Cinzia Forte has lately added important roles to her repertoire: La contessa d’Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro (Liège), Anna Bolena (title role, in Trieste), and Desdemona in Otello (Pisa and Cagliari). Mrs Forte opened the Teatro San Carlo 2013 Season singing La Traviata, Michele Mariotti conducting and Ferzan Ozpetek directing and recently starred as Eleonora in Il Furioso all’Isola di San Domingo in Bergamo and Savona and in the next months on tour in Modena, Rovigo and Ravenna. She also sang a gala concert with the ORT-Orchestra Regionale for the opening of the Festival Incontri in Terra di Siena as well as Rossini’s Stabat Mater in Trieste and Ljubljana. In the next future Mrs Forte will return to the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, where she will perform Fidelio under the baton of Paolo Arrivabeni and Mario Martone directing and Rossini’s La Gazzetta.

Nino Surguladze - Maddalena

Georgian born Nino Surguladze is one of the most interesting artist of her generation, winner in a number of prestigious international voice competitions including the Concours International de Chant de la Ville de Toulouse, the Francisco Vinas Competition of Barcelona, and the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World. Nino Surguladze’s whirlwind advance from Accademia alla Scala has already brought her to sing in the  world’s premier opera stages such as Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Metropolitan Opera in New York,  Arena in Verona, Gran Teatre de Liceu in Barcelona, Glyndebourne Festival, Salzburg Festival, Teatro Real in Madrid, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Regio in Turin and in Parma, collaborating with such conductors as Muti, Plasson, Harding, Gergiev.

Ms. Surguladze lately sang Sinaïde in Moïse et Pharaon (cond. Muti) at the Salzburg Festival and in Rome; Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Dorabella in Così fan Tutte and Carmen (title role) in Tokyo; Carmen in San Diego and Olga in Evgenij Onegin in Chicago. Ms Surguladze just starred as Maddalena in Rigoletto in Cologne, Fenena in Nabucco at La Scala in Milan and Olga in Evgenij Onegin at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette at the Arena in Verona. Among her future plans it is worth mentioning her debut as Amneris in Aida at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Ms. Surguladze will be engaged in various concerts in United Kingdom and Germany.

One of the noblest bass voices among the young generation, Gianluca Buratto’s recent engagements include: Bach’s B minor Mass with Savall in Madrid and Barcelona, both Mozart and Jommelli’s Betulia liberata with Muti in Salzburg and Ravenna and in Wroclaw under Rovaris; Mercadante’s Virginia and La Bohème at the Wexford Opera Festival; Ambrosini’s Il Killer di Parole (world premiere), La Bohème and Rigoletto in Venice; Mozart’s Mass in C minor KV 427 at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Nagano; Bach’s Johannes-Passion with Lopez-Banzo in Spain and Germany; Macbeth with Muti at the Salzburg Festival, Rome and Chicago; the world premiere of Solbiati’s La leggenda in Turin with Noseda; Le Nozze di Figaro (Bartolo) in Barcelona with Rousset; L’Incoronazione di Poppea (Seneca) at the Innsbruck Festival; La Bohème (under the baton of Chailly) and I Due Foscari in Valencia; Macbeth at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan; Rota’s Mysterium in Naples and Rome. Seung Pil Choi

Seung Pil Choi - Conte di Monterone

Korean born Seung Pil Choi graduated in sacred music at the Chong Shin University and in singing at the University of Arts in Korea, after that he moved to Germany where he specialized in chamber music and German repertoire. In 2006 he arrived in Italy where he graduated in singing at the conservatoire in Turin, in chamber music at the National Academy in Milan and he specialized at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (with Renato Bruson), at the Accademia Pucciniana in Torre del Lago and at the Opera Studio at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi and in Treviso. Mr Choi collaborated with such theaters as Teatro Filarmonico and Arena in Verona,  Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Regio in Turin. Mr. Choi returns to the Carlo Felice in Genoa where in the past Seasons he performed Turandot and he recently participated at the production of Simon Boccanegra at the Teatro Verdi in Parma.

Future plans include Madama Butterfly in Turin and Simon Boccanegra in Toulon and a series of concerts in Piacenza.
